A MILE OF ANECDOTES My Fond Memories At The Nautical Mile
I have always had a deep connection with the Mile for as long as I could remember PHOTOS BY, EESHA BUTT
My parents would tell me how they would drag me to the Nautical Mile to feed me my bottle or make me nap as that was the only place that would allow them to do so.
Growing up, some of my greatest memories were spending time with my family and friends at the Mile.
Whether it was goofing around at the docks with my friends,
or spending Father's Day on the Mile with my dad, leaving my mother and brother behind.
The Mile gives me joy and comfort like
longtime visitor of the Mile, Jayne Felenstein said, "The Mile is an escape from our crazy lives."
Whether it be winter or summer the sun shines above the water as it remains shimmering all year long, reminding me that the Nautical Mile is my light to come to when dark times are near.
